Hi folk, I have been very busy of late and it has taken me a while to sit and write on this blog. I have had good responses from guys like Jose in Portugal, Kate,Tinashe Mudhokwani,Wilbroad Mutswagiwa, Tsaurai in Darfur and many other guys who took their time to comment on this blog.
Guys getting a job in remote areas can be a hassle , but perseverance and networking can pay off at the end of the day.
I encourage people to join forums. Here you get people who will tell you where vacancies are and in some cases they even give you the email address to forward your CV/Resume to. You also get info on courses to further your education as well. For example, Cardiff University is offering a Diploma up to MSc Level for HSE.
Some Forums require you to pay a fee per certain period to be able to see full details of vacancies available.
