Essential Job Duties:
Assist in the development of lesson plans IAW the Systems Approach to Training(SAT) Manual and assist in lesson plan maintenance and update improvements. Instructs Military Advisor Team, other Advisors, and/or Marines assigned to Cooperative Engagement or Stability Operations. Provide training in Combat Life Saver/Tactical Combat Casualty Care techniques, to include the following specific skills: First Responder, Buddy care, first aid, triage and emergency and EMT like care; Combat application tourniquets and haemostatic agents such as 'quickclot'; CASEVAC and trauma care; Patient stabilization in remote/austere environment and the establishment of aid stations and medical/dental programs for foreign security forces

Civilian Education: REQUIRED: High School diploma DESIRED: College Degree
Military Education. N/A.
Military/Government Experience: REQUIRED: Military/medical experience (e.g., Navy Corpsman, Special Forces Medic, U.S. Navy Seal Corpsman, etc.); knowledge of Hem-a'clot, CAT tourniquets, and live tissue experience; recent experience operating in a combat zone in the last four years; Military Instructor experience; Currency with TTPs and Lessons Learned from recent real world operations.
NOTE: Civilian EMT training and experience will be considered.
DESIRED: Recent operational experience as a Corpsman/Medic; familiarity with the Mojave Viper and/or the USMC Advisor Program; experience in curriculum development; experience as an Advisor.
Other: This position may require travel to alternate training venues. Performance of duties will be in a combination of classroom and field conditions.
