As the Emergency Service Officer you will be responsible for the coordinating the emergency response systems, including their development and coordination. You will working at one of our most progressive operations giving you the opportunity to utilise and further develop your skills while coordinating our site emergency response teams and to determine training requirements.
Why does the job exist?
Reporting to the Emergency Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating the onsite training and evaluation of the Emergency Response Team. You will be required to manage and coordinate all emergency situations while liaising with all external emergency services. In addition, you will be responsible for facilitating regular audits and inspections of all emergency equipment on site.

What skills and experience do you need?
You will be an experience emergency response professional with extensive knowledge of First Aid, a St John Ambulance Industrial Medic (or equivalent) and a Certificate IV Trainer Assessor.
As the preferred candidate you will have prior experience working in the professional emergency services with experience working training volunteers.
