This position is responsible for conducting classroom instruction, recruiting and advising students concerning the Emergency Medical Services Education Program and addresses student program concerns; participating in the assessment, development, planning, implementation, evaluation and promotion of Emergency Medical Technology educational programs and associated clinical education.
Associate's Degree with five (5) years full-time experience in Emergency Medical Services in educational administration OR a Bachelor's degree with two (2) years full-time experience in Emergency Medical Service in educational administration; must be a licensed or certified Paramedic and EMT and meet requirements established by the Commission of Accreditation of EMT Equivalent academic training and preparation; must hold all credentials for which the students are being prepared in the program, or hold comparable credentials which demonstrate at least equivalent training and preparation; Superior ability to communicate orally and in writing; extensive experience in clinical practice; and Collegiate level teaching experience preferred.
