The role :
The successful applicant will has technical experience and knowledge in shipbuilding & repair and/ or offshore Oil & Gas requirement:
•At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
•Knowledge of government regulations pertaining to workplace safety and health.
•Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment principles.
•Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
The person :
Responsibilities :
•Initiate actions and control systems to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities related to safety & environment.
•Oversee the safety training and promotion programmes for different levels to ensure continual safety awareness within organization.
•Strategizesafety & environment programs to ensure the good safety record of the company.
•Oversee the coordination and implementation of safety improvement plans.
•Promote sharing of best safety practices and coordinate safety management processes among different yards within the company.
