Our International Medical Services works with global oil, gas, mining and energy corporations in assessing the health risks of their onsite employees working in some of the most remote operational environments. Each remote site clinic provides both primary and emergency healthcare services to the client’s onsite employee population

The Medical Emergency Response and Training Advisor’s primary function is to provide leadership and direction in the co-ordination of the International SOS Medical, Emergency Response and Security Program in regards to all emergency situations within our client’s West Papua Site.

Key responsibilities:
* To optimize utilization of Emergency Response Team resources to achieve best medical response outcomes.
* To develop emergency response protocols to ensure response to emergency incidents onsite.
* To develop an integrated system with continuous improvements to medical and emergency response activities.
* Responsible for designing, developing, monitoring and assessing regular drills either within International SOS, with ERG and Security or large scale events.

THE PERSON
* Full Paramedic registration
* Paramedic with minimum 10 years plus experience in both primary and emergency medicine
* Minimum 5 years in co-ordination and development of emergency responses programs
* Current ACLS certification
* Remote area and international experience is highly regarded
