Medic/Paramedic Area Supervisor X 3 - Afghanistan
Supervises all aspects of the emergency medical services function within assigned area of responsibility, typically a large FOB or multiple FOB’s. Supervises staff in activities concerned with providing routine medical services, first aid, and emergency services. Activities include serving as the initial on-site medic for routine medical issues for contractors and subcontractors; performing vital checks, diagnosing patients with minor symptoms and prescribing medication as necessary. Responsible for administering on-site inoculations for required vaccinations, and drug and alcohol testing. Works closely with on-site HSE management to assess work injuries and accidents, provides documentation to assist company with workers compensation claims. Determines fitness for duty of contractors and subcontractors with senior HSE management. Ensures medical records are maintained for on-site contractors and subcontractors, meeting compliance requirements.
