Position Summary:
Overall responsibility for both Basic and Advanced Emergency Medical Services during the work shift as designated by Program Management. Supervise and train ambulance and emergency medical services crews in designated area.
This is a proposed position and contingent on contract award.
Principal Duties:
• Lead ambulance crews in responding to all ALS calls in designated area for emergency medical services.
• Assist in the training of Host Nation paramedic and EMT staff on an operational basis as designated by Program Management.
• Assists in the development and initiates procedures for equipment supply to ensure operational readiness of all ambulances and response vehicles during work shift.
• Assists in developing and implements policies and procedures to inspect personnel, vehicles and equipment to maintain operational readiness.
