General Functions:
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission for administrative and non-technical
matters and the direct functional supervision of the Director, Migration Health Department
(MHD) in Headquarters and in close coordination with the Regional Migration Health Officer, the
successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the implementation and oversight
of IOM health assessment programme activities in Ukraine.
In particular, he/she will:
1. Provide technical and administrative oversight, monitoring and quality assurance to
ongoing IOM health assessment and related programmes in Ukraine.
2. Ensure that immigration health assessment programmes fulfill the requirements of the
resettlement countries, including supervision and standardization of all aspects of the medical
