Summary of Position:
Offshore Medic should provide 24-hour coverage of first line
medical and consultation services for offshore personnel. Liaise all
significant medical cases with CMO and if decided necessary
summon emergency medical support and prepare personnel for
evacuation or referral. Perform follow-up treatment and
rehabilitation in cases of injury and illness where evacuation is not
required. Respond to personnel counselling needs. Provide
individual medical examinations as requested and health
screening. Maintain and computerized statutory records, reports,
and referral letters. Maintain adequate stock of medications and
equipment.
The successful candidate should have:
• University degree in Medicine;
• Minimum 5 years experience in the medical field.
• Effective language skills (English, Azeri & Russian);
• Effective communication and analytical skills;
• A customer service commitment at all times;
• A professional empathic behavior towards patients;
• Punctuality and good attendance;
• Ability to work in team-oriented environment;
• Ability to work with people at all levels;
• Readiness to develop professional skills.
