Diamond Offshore General Company, a large international
offshore drilling contractor, seeks to appoint two Safety
Department Representatives / Medics on one of our Australian rigs
that is under contract with a reputable client.
In this role you will be responsible for;
•Provide training on the vessel safety case requirements,
Company safety systems, hazard identification and controls.
•Provide on-site first aid and first response medical assistance and
triage.
•Pre-pare and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Conduct incident investigations.
• Provide orientation to the rig to all new employees or visitors.
• Maintain emergency medical equipment.
• Undertake audits and inspections.
• Assist in safety meetings and drills.
Minimum Experience/Education Level Required
•2-3 years experience in a similar role in the offshore drilling
industry.
•Must be a qualified Paramedic or equivalent.
• Proficient in Incident Investigation and associated reporting.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Australian Safety Case
regime.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
