*Provide patient care within ACP EMR scope of practice.
*Provide medical coverage on remote seismic operations for large groups of workers using ATVs,snowmobiles, helicopters, etc
*Provide medical standby in the field on many different types of projects including oil and gas operations, forestry, mining, construction, media and public events.
*Conduct themselves in a safe, courteous, and honorable manner.
*Respect their patients, the environment, the
company and our clients' property.
*Operate our vehicles in a safe manner in all road conditions.
*Adhere to company Journey Management Systems protocols.
*Remain current with online safety training system.
*Complete all paperwork BEFORE, DURING and AFTER job completion.
*Maintain professional and clean working area while on job location.
*Complete and submit all forms and paperwork in a tidy, complete manner
*Other duties to be assigned as required
Qualifications:
*Valid EMR, EMT-A or EMT-P registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics
*Minimum 6 months industrial medical experience
*Clean driver's abstract
*Valid H2 S
*Valid PST ticket an asset
*RCMP clearance letter
Expected Program Start Date : IMMEDIATE start dates in fall 2011.
Schedule of Work: ASP employees can expect to be in the field for 3 weeks and to have 1 week off.
