Job Description: Come join our exciting Medical Services Team! As the Fleet Nurse Manager, you will supervise shipboard nurse services and have the opportunity to provide leadership, direction and guidance to the shipboard nurse staff.

Responsibilities:
Recruit, credential and hire for shipboard nurse positions
Facilitate nurse training and education
Responsible for personnel management including but not limited to performance appraisals, staff scheduling, contract preparation, interpersonal conflict resolution, morale enhancement and staff retention
Responsible for risk management
Ensure patient satisfaction enhancement
Operate within established budget
Periodically visit ships for onsite meetings and inspections
Manage medical supply inventory
Promote safe, healthy and productive work environment for shipboard nurse staff
Preferred Qualifications:
Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner
Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree preferred
Shipboard experience a plus, but not required
Clinical experience in emergency and/or other critical care nursing preferred
Formal training and/or experience in clinical management, business management and/or finance a plus, but not required
