Reporting to the OIM, the Medic is responsible for providing medical services and support in accordance with good medical practice, rules and regulations.
Duties include:
• Organisation of the preventive health work on board the FPSO, and supervision of the physical and mental health of onboard personnel
• Administer first aid and treatment to injured and sick personnel, consulting the Company Doctor or the Duty Doctor when necessary
• Supervision of the medical emergency preparedness in respect of accidents
• Maintaining a dangerous drugs record on behalf of the OIM
• Responsible for Helicopter traffic control and administration and updating of the POB lists.
• Carry out all safety inductions and maintaining records as necessary
• Control of the hygienic standard on the FPSO, and assisting in checking the working environment on board
• To maintain the required COSHH documentation and administration
• Responsible for the occupational health hazard identification, monitoring and management.
