Position Description We are seeking a senior emergency medicine technician (paramedic) to join the Saudi Aramco Medical Services Organization (SAMSO)

SAMSO is a world class organization accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and Joint Commission International.

As part of Saudi Aramco's Industrial Relations business line, SAMSO is one of the largest company-directed healthcare facilities in the Middle East providing health services for 180,000 Saudi Aramco employees and their dependants.

The senior paramedic's primary function is to perform triage at the scene of an emergency to determine priority of care and provide the appropriate life support and care to patients prior to their arrival at the hospital.
Minimum Requirements The successful candidate will hold an associate degree in a recognized and accredited emergency medical technician (EMT) or Paramedic program. They will be registered with four years of experience following their registration.Alternatively, the candidate my hold a Bachelor degree in nursing, EMT or a related field and have four years of experience following their registration.

A valid Saudi Arabian driver's license is required will be required here.
Duties & Responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities You will be required to perform the following:

Triage in the pre-hospital phase to determine priority of care.

Direct paramedical and comprehensive pre-hospital patient care as required, ensuring compliance with emergency medical transport regulations, protocols, and procedures.

Apply artificial airways through intubates, perform defibrillation, basic and advanced cardiac life support, monitor and synchronize cardio version and trans-cutaneous pacing, initiate treatment, initiate I.Vs and perform rescue techniques.

Respond to life and death situations such as 110 calls and disaster response in case of an industrial accident.

Use advanced medical equipment and monitor in the course of emergency medical treatment.

Assess ambulance equipment required to meet SAMSO requirements and approved standards.

Participate in and review disaster drills, safety education programs in the emergency field and provide training to EMT-Basic and first responders.

Adhere to all EMT policies and procedures, departmental and health regulations and standards, and function as a team member to provide efficient and prompt care.

Assume immediate control of emergency or disaster situations and initiate mobilization following established procedures.

Maintain registration (such as NREMT or similar) through ongoing training and CME.
