Primary Purpose of the Job:
To provide immediate medical services to the school population, i.e. Emergency Support, First Aid, and Essential Primary Care.
To provide ongoing medical support for children with chronic diseases and disability.
To provide public health support by conducting health prevention; screening and immunization and health promotion programs.
Education:
Registered Nurse/minimum 3yr certificated training or BSc Nursing (essential).
Eligible for Qatar license to practice nursing (essential).
Additional professional qualification such as Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
BLS (Basic Life Support) (essential).
ILS (intermediate Life Support) (essential).
Experience & Skills:
Minimum 3 years post registration experience in child health and health promotion (essential).
Ability to motivate and organize others to ensure best practice (essential).
Working knowledge of IT systems such as Microsoft Word (essential).
Evidence of continued professional development (essential).
