Participates in fire and emergency services activities including fire suppression, EMS, rescue, public assistance, fire investigation, fire prevention, pre-fire planning, fire company training, public education, clinical training and routine maintenance of apparatus, equipment and facilities. Supports Emergency Management functions as needed.
Will serve as a structural firefighter, airport firefighter, driver/operator, HAZMAT responder, and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) on a scheduled rotation. If qualified, may serve as fill in Supervisory Firefighter.
Maintains National Registry EMT-Basic certification and CPR card as conditions of employment.
Obeys orders of officers, cooperates with fellow Fire Fighters, follows the orders of medical direction, presents a neat appearance and maintains good conduct.
