Description: Aspen Healthcare Solutions Ltd is currently recruiting the following posts for work with the UK MoD in Afghanistan.
RN - A & E - Band 5/6
RN - Genitourinary Medicine (GU MED) - Band 5/6
RN - Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) - Band 5/6
RN with RN (C) or RSCN Equivilant - Paediatric Nurse - Band 5/6
RN - Primary Health Care - Band 5/6
RN - Infection Control - Band 5/6
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Staff Nurses to provide nursing care to British Servicemen and Women and, to contractors and local civilians whom are entitled to use the military hospital. This is a great opportunity to enhance your clinical skills in a dynamic environment and to play a major role in taking nursing forward for patients at all stages of their recovery and recuperation.
The successful candidates will be nurses with proven clinical skills and the vision and passion to optimise high quality care. Being a good team player they will work with their military colleagues and the nursing team leaders to help foster good communication and improved processes to enhance the patient pathway.
Deployments are for 3 month rotations starting in April 2012.

Experience, qualifications and documentation required: To apply you must have UK registration along with a relevant diploma or first level degree and a minimum of two years post registration experience, a minimum of three years employment history, to include time as a trainee in the speciality. We are looking for strong clinical leaders with good collaborative skills who are enthusiastic about enhancing patient care through service improvement. Experience of working in a military setting would be an advantage but is not essential.
