Working in conjunction with a team of professionals in the Human Resources and the Quality Health Safety & Environment departments, you will be based in our Canadian Head Office located in Calgary, Alberta. You will provide occupational health programs and services for approximately 2800 employees in Canada.
Major Function/Responsibilities
. Primary function is to provide disability management and occupational health nursing services for employees and to promote health and wellness programs that support a safe and healthy work environment
. Additional responsibilities include medical surveillance programs, drug and alcohol testing program, and participation in targeted health promotion programs
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
We are seeking self motivated individuals with excellent organizational, and communication
skills.
Specific qualifications include:
. Successful candidate must be a Registered Nurse with current CARNA registration;
. Minimum 2 years experience in disability management;
. Minimum 2 years experience in an Occupational Health Setting;
. Canadian Certification in Occupational Health Nursing COHN(C) or Certificate/Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing
. Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Database management
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
. Recent experience working in the oil and gas industry;
. Working knowledge of Medgate;
. Ability to handle a diverse client caseload;
. Good working knowledge of relevant provincial occupational health and safety and WCB legislation;
. Certification or post secondary training in Disability Case Management;
. A proven track record in positive disability case management outcomes
