Emergency response
Emergency primary care of injured workers
Evaluation and treatment of chest pain and coronary symptoms
Respond to the scene of any incident on the construction site to stabilize patients in compromising environments
Documentation and patient contact / emergency care management
Liaison with all stakeholders within the workers compensation system
Training and development of site personnel
Reviewing and updating safety and health procedures
Drug and Alcohol testing
Managing maintenance and stock of the medical centre
This role will provide continuous coverage of 24 hours per day, 7 days per week therefore the roster will comprise of day and night shift.

The successful applicant will be flexible, dynamic and work well in a team environment. You will have demonstrated experience in onsite paramedic responsibilities, excellent organisational skills and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
You will also need:
Bachelor of Paramedical Science or equivalent
Minimum 3 years clinical experience in either State Ambulance or Armed Forces
Minimum 1 year experience in remote mining or similar
Have advanced trauma stabilization and transport skill
Experience with rescue and extrication techniques
