Remote Medical International is seeking qualified applicants for a Physician position in the North Pacific.
The site is a remote U.S. territorial island accessible only by chartered plane. The location includes world-class fishing, snorkeling, and bird-watching while practicing wilderness medicine with the assistance of a Wilderness EMT medical assistant.
The Physician is responsible for providing routine, acute and emergent medical care and consultation service for permanent party and transient personnel on the island, the surrounding ocean and airspace. The case load is typically three to five patients per day, with on-call duties extremely rare.
Compensation is competitive for a US Physician, malpractice and benefits are included. Remote Medical International is a growing company with many opportunities for temporary and permanent placements all over the world. Visitors and/or family are not allowed onsite during the term.
Minimum requirements:
- Current U.S. licensed physician.
- Maintain current certification in BLS* and ACLS*.
- Experience Traveling in Foreign Countries.
*These may be obtained through Remote Medical after hire.
