Job Title Nurse - Midwife

Position Description Saudi Aramco's Medical Services Organization (SAMSO) seeks experienced Midwives for the Inpatient Division, to be assigned to work in any of the five Saudi Aramco facilities.

Minimum Requirements You will have 5 years of clinical nursing experience, post-general nurse registration, 2 years of which must be post-Midwifery qualification. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

You will require a thorough current knowledge in all aspects of Ante-natal, Intra-partum and Post-partum procedures and protocols and have a demonstrated competency in these areas.
Duties & Responsibilities In general, all work is performed on a 24/7 rotational assignment of 12 hour shifts consisting of days and nights.

Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
You will assist in orientation/training of new nurses under the direction of the Supervisor.

You will perform all normal deliveries, identifying and alerting any deviation from normal labor to the Obstetrician on call.

You will be well experience in, and be required to perform, the following procedures:
* Antenatal assessment.
* Performing ARM - Applying FSE.
* Interpretation of CTG.
* Use of Oxytocin (Augmentation and Induction of labor).
* Use of Oxytocin for management of 3rd stage of labor.
* Resuscitation of the newborn - Neonatal Resuscitation Program certified Episiotomy.
* Perineal suturing - 1st degree laceration, 2nd degree laceration and care of postpartum patient.
* Use of Magnesium Sulfate for Pre-eclampsia and premature labor.
* Epidural monitoring.
