
Job Summary
- Collaborate with other members of the OHS and organization to ensure integration of services for the organization and individual worker and specifically to offer an offshore perspective
- Advise the OIM and other offshore team members on health issues
- Provide pre-hospital and primary health care in accordance with Medical Directives established by the Occupational Health Advisor and approved by the Occupational Medical Consultant
- Consult with the on-call physician as appropriate and prepare the ill or injured worker for Air Medical Evacuation when necessary
- Provide quality health consultation on an individual basis as recommended by the physician during the health assessment or as sought by the worker
- Facilitate accommodation and rehabilitation of the ill or injured worker, at the workplace, through direct monitoring of the worker as per case management processes
- Monitor offshore Industrial Hygiene issues and develop and maintain IH programs
- Provide offshore workers with health promotion opportunities and deliver supportive programs
- Maintain individual health records and occupational
- Participate in the Offshore Emergency Response Plan in a Medical lead role
- Provide regular training opportunities for the Medical/Stretcher Response Teams
- Be an active member of the Offshore Occupational Health and Safety Committee
- Participate in the offshore Incident/Accident Investigations
- Support the implementation of EMAS Safety Management Systems
- Complete Environmental Health reports
- Health surveillance and education
- Equip and maintain the installation health center medical equipment in accordance with company and regulatory standards
- Support the safe operations of Heli-administration through provision of passenger bookings and offshore safety orientations
Status: Contract
Required Skills/Experience: - 5 years experience in Critical Care Nursing (ER/ICU/CCU)
- 2 years experience in Occupational Health Nursing
- Understanding of key business objectives, work processes, and organizational design
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment which expects the highest level of customer service, moral and ethical behaviours
- Knowledge of quality processes and continuous improvement tools
- Proficient in English both written and oral
- Open to Malaysians ONLY
Required Qualifications: - Offshore/Remote Nurses Program Certification
- Current First Aid/CPR Instructor’s Certification
Desired Qualifications: - Occupational Health Nursing Certification
- Occupational Health Specialty Program
