We are looking for an Experienced:
Medic & Safety Advisor
You will:
Provide Medic services and appropriate medical support to all crew
Promote health & safety best practice
Be the focal point for all health, welfare and safety issues on the vessel.
The position will require you to be responsible for the ships' medical facilities and medicines
Managing offshore medical care, maintaining records, producing reports
You will conduct accident and incident investigations
You must be:
An Experienced offshore Medic
Qualified Medic or Paramedic/Armed Forces Field Medic experience.
You will also hold a relevant medical qualification
Preferably a NEBOSH or recognised Health & Safety Certificate.
It would also be beneficial to hold auditing qualifications or experience of working with ISO 14001, 18001 or 9001 systems.
To work on the vessels you will need to hold or successfully complete an ENG-1 Medical and STCW95 Survival Course, You could spend up to 180 days at sea over a 12 month period.
You must be free to travel around the world without restrictions
You must have a full UK driving licence
