Attends the injured / sick cases primarily at the shopfloor to help with first aid and treatment
Responds to calls for medical assistance at accidents, emergencies and other related incidents.
Evaluates the condition of personnel seriously injured or taken ill; provides them with life support and assists for their immediate transfer to hospitals for proper treatment.
Establishes medical contacts with concerned hospitals / doctors as need arises (to ensure provision of proper treatment to sick employees and their eligible dependents)
Applies splints to limbs, dresses wounds, administers pain relief, oxygen, drips and fluids as and when required.
Treats minor injuries
Maintains contacts with network hospitals for obtaing updated reports on ailing employees’ health status
Provides to personnel healthcare related counselling and advice
Checks medical related vouchers and processes for payment
Skills
Capable of working with minimum supervision at optimum level (Basic)
Knowledge of updated pharmacological developments (Basic)
Effective verbal and written communication skill in English, and Arabic beneficial
Excellent medical judgment and be able to prioritize decisions and act quickly in the best interest of the patients
Capable of communiating with multicultural workforce
Basic knowledge of medication including analgesics, anesthetics, sedatives, muscle relaxants, anti-hypertensives, antibiotics, common vaccines etc. (Basic)
Computer literacy
Education
Diploma in Paramedical course from a reputed medical university
Capable of working with minimum supervision at optimum level (Basic)
Knowledge of updated pharmacological developments (Basic)
