Pulse International is looking for an Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Educator for the 1,025-bed National Guard Health Affairs Hospital in
Riyadh.
This is the flagship hospital of one of the Middle East’s
most highly-regarded medical groups. The five hospitals in the
group -
in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Al Ahsa - are internationally-accredited
and provide excellent opportunities for career development and further
education.
The EMS Educator provides skills assessment and
professional development for both EMS and Nursing Staff and is actively
involved in the unit-based quality improvement programme. Periodic
clinical duties to maintain skills are also required.
The
successful candidate for this post will hold a western EMS licence at
least equivalent to the United States DoT Paramedic licence. (A
Bachelor’s degree would be an advantage.) Three years experience as an
Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic and three years experience in an
ALS EMS teaching role are required.
Candidates should hold a western passport.
