Role Summary/Purpose
This position will
provide leadership to the staff of the On Site Medical facility located
at site in OIl&Gas with aprox. 500 ee's, implementing occupational
health programs and GE’s Employee health initiatives. The position
reports functionally to BML and organizationally to EHS Manager.
It is expected to implement Occupational Health programs and GE’s Health initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Deliver Clinical occupational health programs to ensure site’s compliance with regulatory and GE standards.
2.
Deliver clinical services, programs and initiatives such as prevention,
clinical patient care, health promotion, travel health and
site-specific programs like healthcare benefits, absence management etc,
including medical oversight of nursing staff.
3. Work with BML& or RML, site HR, EHS, Facility and Security to implement cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications/Requirements
1. Medical Graduate Degree in Medicine from accredited Institute / University/ Medical College
2. Valid Medical Post-Graduation certificate in Occupational Medicine
3. Valid license to practice in (specify: country / region / state)
4. At least 3 years experience in an occupational health setting of large organization / Industry
5. Medical knowledge is current as noted by regular participation in Continuing Medical Education/ equivalent programs.

Recognized post graduate qualification or experience in Occupational Health
Knowledge and application of laws of the land with respect to occupational health, disability & workers compensation.
Data management like tracking, analyzing, trending and developing insights for intervention
