Job Description
Key resource to the 24 hour emergency Alarm Centre.
Verify patient information and eligibility by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs over phone; confirming purpose of calling.
Understand the exact query and provide with necessary information and/or medical advice and or medical service. Provide immediate advice and medical assistance to ensure all cases are dealt with on a priority basis.
Determine what services are required, depending on urgency, primary medical treatment, urgent care, etc.
To communicate and liaise with the doctors wherever required.
Review Previous Medical History & Document actions by updating patient history in the system.
Maintain patient’s confidence and also keep patient care information confidential
Suggest new initiatives to assist in providing effective medical services. Proactively identify opportunities to improve service levels (through error feedback) and follow these through.
To communicate clearly, accurately and effectively with internal and external customers
To regularly review and maintain knowledge levels for the job and keep up-to-date with the changing SOPs. Keep up to date with market trends and new developments in the field of medicine.
Educate and provide inputs to internal staff and participate in protocol development
Share knowledge and technical expertise with other team members
To meet performance indicators, as agreed during formal assessment reviews To adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures, including Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, Data Protection, Code of Conduct, Security, IT and Internal Control Financial Regulations.
Availability on Rotational Shift basis (Night shifts – for male candidates only).
