Our client is seeking Medic/HSEQ support
personnel for upcoming short-term adhoc
positions:
Duties to include:
-To provide an excellent level of primary care to
all
crew members.
-Deliver emergency and primary stabilisation and
treatment of all accidents and illnesses.
-Ensure an effective response in emergency
situations by providing appropriate training for
emergency teams and first aiders.
-Must be able to maintain detailed medical
records of care given.
-Co-ordinate and supervise the first aid teams
during medical and operational emergencies.
-Must be able to maintain medical stocks in
accordance with client requirements.
-Maintain medical facilities to a high standard.
HSEQ:
-Assist line management to champion HSEQ
requirements
-Advise on activities to ensure all crewmembers
are trained in accordance with required HSEQ
training and ensure records of HSEQ training are
maintained for crew.
-Ensure that all personnel are aware of the crew
safety structure and that they are familiar with
the HSEQ practices and procedures for their job
and that these practices are being adhered to in
the day to day work.
-Provide guidance on maintenance, inspection
and replacement of PPE as necessary.
-Audits - continually review and improve
practices
and procedures by taking into account lessons
learned, hazard identifications and risk
assessments.
-Ensure the safety and welfare of all visitors and
newcomers. Organise and conduct induction
training and meetings for new personnel joining
the crew and provide them with HSEQ material.
-Check all equipment; eg, machinery, piping,
electrical wiring, facilities, water supply, food
preparation for HSE hazards and possible HSE
improvements.
-Report all accidents and/or unsafe conditions in
a
timely manner. where possible and it is safe and
reasonably prudent to do so remedy and unsafe
condition prior to reporting.
-Organise regular safety drills, briefs, pep talks,
training and meetings, document and circulate
the minutes.
-Share HSEQ knowledge and best practices with
other crews, line management and functional
management.
-Dissemination of HSEQ information including
alerts, incidents and statistic to the crew.
Must hold the following:
-HSE Offshore Medic Certificate.
-ALS
-BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety & Induction &
Emergency Training Cert)
-Offshore Medical Certificate
-NEBOSH General Certificate
