Job Description The Role:
• Initial emergency response, resuscitation and
stabilization of critically ill or injured (trauma)
patients, employing ALS emergency Medical
protocols (e .g. ACLS or ITLS);
• A staging point for Medical evacuations from the
site to a location where further treatment can be
performed and coordination of such evacuation
(in conjunction with 24-hr alarm centers), should
the patient's condition require;
• Diagnosis and treatment of non-emergency
Medical conditions as per lnti.SOS treatment
protocols, including initiation of prescription
medications;
• Provision of primary care services to the
workforce within the Doctor's "On Duty" hours,
where
this does not adversely affect the Doctor's ability
to provide Medical emergency coverage;
• Management and administration including initial
audit of equipment and Medicines;
• Management of Medical equipment and supplies
including the arrangement of resupply of
consumables;
• Implementation of site health plans and
preventive Medicine activities as required ,
including
health promotion educational activities;
• Ensure that the occupational health
management is fully complied with the corporate
standard.
• Regular health and hygiene inspections of on-
site catering, accommodation and laundry areas;
• Documentation, activity logs and confidential
patient Medical record-keeping associated with
the
above activities.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The Site Medical Person must have the following
qualifications as minimal requirement:
1) Doctor or graduated nurse (BS nursing) or EMT
(BS EMT)
2) Valid professional license in the country of
operation.
3) Good English communication skill
4) Valid BLS, ACLS, and ITLS training certificated
by any international accepted training centers
(such as American Heart Association training
center)
5) At least 3 years experienced in Emergency
medicine, or General Practitioner
6) Valid BOST/HUET or equivalent
7) Valid medical certificate for Fitness to Work
offshore based on PTTEP Fitness to work guideline
8) Hold medical malpractice and general liability
Insurance coverage of at least 100,000 US per
event.
All training/certificate above must be kept
validated before the expired date.
