Job Description
HSE Certified Offshore Paramedic needed to
provide remote medical services for oil and gas
facilities in austere environments. Facility will
have armed security presence. BOSIET required
as rotational movements are air based.
Qualifications:
1. HSE Offshore Medic or Registered Paramedic
with Nebosh and 2 years experience.
2. BOSIET w/ HUET
3. Full inoculations for african based WHO
recommendations
4. Certificate in Hygiene and Food Handling
5. ENG1, OGUK, or equivalent offshore medical
from your country.
6. Proof of clean criminal record
Experience:
At least 2 years recent experience at Paramedic
Level.
At least 1 year experience as a HSE Offshore
Medic
Contracts:
1. 6 weeks in / 6 weeks out (Or as you see fit with
your rota partner, flight expenses may apply)
2. full board
3. 1 year renewable duration
4. certification board required continuing
education opportunities through medical director
5. all flights, visas from a european airport
6. Liability and Accident Insurance
Induction:
- 1 week assimilation course is required prior to
deployment. This is not paid, however your
accommodation and a per diem allowance for
food will be provided. you will deploy directly from
the course. This is mandatory and will include
security related training, ballistic trauma training
and kidnap training for Austere preparation. This
week will also include fitness testing, skills
assessment and other administration. Held in the
UK. (non EU residents will have to fly themselves,
but onward flights are covered)
