Position: Offshore Paramedic

The Position
This is a temporary full time offshore position
located in international
waters, off the coast of Trinidad. The ideal
candidate is located in the
America's region and is an excellent clinician, who
has the skills to
communicate effectively with patients, co-workers,
and business clients.
Understanding and experience in corporate and
occupational health is a
plus. Remote medical experience, including 2-5
years offshore
assignments, is required. The ideal candidate will
have all offshore
certifications, as well as a valid UKOGA medical.
Our new employee will be providing primary care
and emergency support to
offshore rig (jack up) personnel, and will be
supported by an
International SOS medical director, located in our
America's Region
Assistance Center. Work will be performed on a
21/21 rotational basis,
with full room and board while on-site.
The Person
* Current EMT-P Registration (National or State
Registry)
* 2-5 years offshore experience is required
* Advanced Life Support
Skills required
* Experienced and capable of performing
hygiene inspections
* Passport with minimum of 6 months validity
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
* Current HUET (Helicopter Underwater Egress
Training)
Certification preferred
* Current BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety
Induction & Emergency
Training) Certification preferred
* Valid UKOGA Preferred
* Computer proficiency
* Proactive and solution focused
