Offshore Recruiting Services Inc (ORSI) is currently seeking to identify qualified and experienced offshore personnel for a 2014 East Coast offshore light well intervention program being conducted by Helix Energy Solutions Group. Positions are temporary/project based for a total period of 42 days commencing around 15th June 2014.
All positions require previous marine and where appropriate, offshore drilling/light well intervention experience. Personnel will be expected to contribute towards creating a positive HSEQ culture, ensuring
familiarity with and adherence to both company and local HSEQ codes and practices. All applicants must hold the following minimum mandatory certifications:
MIST - Minimum Industry Safety Training ( MIST)
UKOOA Medical or equivalent
ECOHAC - CAPP Medical
BST - Basic Survival Training
Canadian First Aid
WHMIS
H2S
Medic - Day Shift but provide 24h cover
Duties:Reporting to the OIM/Master, the Medic is responsible for health care and hygiene of all members of the vessel compliment. In addition they shall be responsible for medical coverage on board on a 24 hour basis, keeping accurate records of consultations and treatments, and for certain administration duties on the vessel.
Qualifications: HSE Approved Medic Course or Canadian Equivalent, STCW Basic Safety Training, Civil Aviation Authority Offshore Radio Licence, Dangerous Goods Awareness, Safety Rep, Advanced Safety Leadership, Legionella Awareness, Intoximeter Training.
Experience: Two Years + in a similar role
