The Position
Report health planning issues and outcomes to the OIM and the onshore medical support provider

Provide information and advice concerning all aspects of occupational health to OIM, installation personnel and onshore departments as required
Responsible for monitoring, auditing and advising on all matters pertaining to occupational health, hygiene, safety and environmental standards on the installation.
Responsible for provision of comprehensive primary care and emergency medical facility
Responsible for management of general health and wellbeing of all installation personnel
Develop a culture that raises awareness and understanding of health issues offshore
Provide a programme of regular health promotions appropriate to installation needs
Act as advisor for all occupational health and hygiene matters
Provide counseling for all employees
Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with company policies and best practise
Carry out specific health surveillance in accordance with the control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH), act as COSHH Coordinator responsible for training and awareness for all staff. Maintain and supervise the installation COSHH assessment database.
Responsible for operating the developing the systems and processes to ensure compliance with current and future legislation and safety management systems in conjunction with the onshore HSE Advisor.
Manage installation HSE assurance programme and maintain auditable records, including participating in audits on installation and across the field
Interface with the Health and Safety Executive with specific responsibility for organising and facilitating installation inspections
Manage accident / incident investigation and reporting process
Ensure that all general safety training, including induction is evaluated, carried out and recorded
Promote good environmental practices and behaviors through awareness training

Remote site medic experience essential
Occupational health experience essential
