Job Description:
We have a international Medic position on rotation in West Africa.
Candidates will ideally have the following;
1. High school diploma or equivalent. Work experience and demonstrated ability of oral and written communications may be substituted in lieu of formal education.
2. 2 years paramedic experience preferred.
3. Must have a minimum of two years' experience as a medic or comparable position or six months
experience as a medic with another drilling contractor on a deep water vessel.
4. Ability to work 12 hour shifts, or perhaps longer, as circumstances dictate.
5. Must be able to work without constant supervision.
6. Offshore survival and medical certificates as mandated by governmental client regulations.
7. Nationally Registered EMT - Paramedic or equivalent license recognized by port state authority.
8. Must have current Paramedic (nationally Registered, Licensed or state Certified) for five years with MICU (Mobile Intensive Care Unit) experience.
9. Must have current ALCS and BCLS certification.
10. Must have current international (advanced) Trauma Life Support or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support certification.
11. Good safety record from past operations
12. Working knowledge of HSE Practices common to the industry and company.
13. Valid Passport.
14. Valid medical examination and vaccination certificates
15. Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
16. Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
17. Valid HUET.
