Basic Purpose of the Role:
The paramedic provides basic and advanced emergency and non-emergency paramedical care to the ill and injured. Performs direct illness/injury assessment and management, preparation for transport, transfer of required information, and patient care.
Education Requirements
Internationally recognized EMT-P course or equivalent not less than 12 months duration.
First Aid Certification
Evidence of field specific CME
Experience Requirements
NLT 2 year experience post registration/ certification
License Requirements
Current national license / certification.
Current ACLS PALS, and PHTLS.
