EMT Tactical Medic/Protective Security Specialist (Arabic Speaking)

Rotation Period: 9weeks on/ 3 weeks off (round-trip R&R ticket paid for by company)
Work Schedule: Must be willing to work seven (7) days a week, 12 hour days
Compensation: $400 up to $500 USD per day (depending on experience)

Hostile Control Tactics, “HCT”, is a Small Business Administration approved, veteran owned business with expertise in anti-terrorism force protection training, Information Technologies and physical security services.

Established in 1996, the HCT supports a wide variety of sensitive assignments in non-permissive environments around the world. Highlights of our work includes; training multi-national protective security details under contract with the US Army, the State Department and the United Nations. We've deployed emergency management personnel and security teams in response to Hurricane Katrina and the devastating Haiti earthquake. HCT directly assisted DynCorp International on a $35 million contract sponsored by the Department of State where we retrained over 500 soldiers of the newly reorganized Republic of Liberia Army in Monrovia, Liberia West Africa.
Job Description


EMT TACTICAL MEDIC / ARABIC SPEAKING PROTECTIVE SECURITY SPECIALIST

(Candidates will be required to function in a dual capacity. As a qualified EMT and Arabic speaking protective security specialist serving as a member of protective security detail in Iraq or Afghanistan)

DEPLOYMENT INFORMATION
Location: Iraq and/or Afghanistan
Duration of Project: One (1) year contract w/options to extend

Complete uniform,weapons, and personal protective gear issued by company
Extensive pre-deployment training (paid for by company)
Lodging provided for by company on secure compounds


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
A Protective Security Detail “PSD” is responsible ensuring the safe, comfortable and expedient movement of government officials, foreign dignitaries and high profile persons. An Arabic speaking EMT Tactical Medic will act as the translator between native Arabic speakers and English personnel. Additional duties tasks will require EMT services as are common with the job description.





ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS


Must submit proof of certification as a State or National Registry EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic.
Must have no less than three (3) years of military/police or armed commercial security experience.
Must have at least one(1) year of protective services (i.e. EP/CP) experience
Must speak fluent Arabic
Must speak English at Level III proficiency
Current approved CPR credentials for the professional rescuer.
No felony criminal offenses or domestic violence history.

The EMT-I or Paramedic must successfully pass a challenging ON JOB TRAINING (OJT) training course as a condition for hire. You are paid during this training course.
