Princess
Cruises has excellent shipboard opportunities for Paramedics with 3
years' post-registration work experience and current professional
certifications. Be the Consummate Host by working effectively within the

response and patient care and promote the highest standards of public

Responsibilities
Princess
Cruises maintains a well-equip medical center onboard, which includes a
critical care area, x-ray, lab and pharmacy. Our Paramedics play a
crucial role in these processes as the first line of care. You will be
involved in 2 outpatient clinics daily and includes intake, triage,
procedures assistance or delivery per physician's orders.
Routinely
provides high-level, evidence-based patient care in accordance with
doctor's orders and current Fleet Medical Regulations.
Demonstrates competency and safe practice in medication dispensing and administration at all times.
Actively participates in the delivery of preventative health programs.
Actively participates in crew training programs such as basic first aid and basic life support.
Consistently generates accurate and complete patient bills in compliance with Fleet Medical Regulations.
Assists the medical staff in maintaining cost-efficient pharmacy and supply par levels.
Assists
the medical staff in monitoring all costs, expenditures, and inventory
efficiencies; where appropriate, makes suggestions on cost savings and
revenue-enhancing initiatives.
Participates in the continual maintenance and prompt repair of all medical equipment.
Always complies with all ILO requirements and demonstrates flexibility with on-call schedules and workload.
Routinely performs General Emergency Organization duties as directed in the ERO.
Performs prompt and effective first response, triage, stabilization, package, and appropriate transfer at all times.
Maintains
excellent customer focus in all interactions, ensuring that medical
services are consistently perceived as being accessible at all times.
Consistently demonstrates sensitivity to every patient's culture, age, gender, ability, and socioeconomic status.
Requirements
Three years post-registration work experience as a paramedic and current state certification.

Preferences
Strongly prefer National Registry or willing to get within 1 year of employment.
Prefer
at least 6 months of experience in an emergency department, a medical
clinic, and/or an alternative paramedic work environment.
