Job Description:
Candidates
must posess above average communication skills, a positive attitude, a
strong work ethic, get along well with others, be a team player, and
have the ability to work independently providing safety and medical
support to the opertations team and the HSE group. Candidates must have a
strong working knowledge of all areas of safety that apply to offshore
production, construction, heavy lift, pipeline and drilling operations.
Minimum experience 2 years in the similar role required. Must provide
evidence of safety training in the following areas:
1. Confined Space Entry, Competant Person
2. HAZ Comm
3. Welding, Cutting & Brazing
4. Respiratory Protection
5. Hearing Protection
6. PPE
7. Permit to Work Systems
8. JSA
9. BBS Programs
10. LOTO
11. Fall Protection
12. Scaffolding
13. Water Survival
14. Hazard Identification
15. RCA
16. Rigging and Crane Operations
Daily
Safety Duties will include participation in JSA's, Leading Safety
Meetings, Conducting Orientations, Hot Work Oversight, Pre-work
checklists, SIMOPS, Facilitating the BBS program, Verification of
Qualifications of Site Personnel, Fall Protection, Crane use, Chemicals,
Incident Response, SWA, LOTO, Spill Prevention, Emergency Response,
Confined Space Entry, Electrical Safe Work Practices, Fire Prevention.
Daily
Medic Duties will include providing emergent and non-emergent care to
all personnel located on the facility, maintenance and care of medical
equipment, and reporting and managment of all types of medical cases to
the HSE department. Must provide evidence of current medical training in
the following areas:
1. Nationally Registered or State Registered Paramedic
2. ACLS
3. CPR
4. Safe-Gulf w/SEMS II
5. Water Survival with HUET
6. TWIC Card
7. Passport Preferred
