Job Description
- Medic / SOHO
- Medical or Nursing Degree or Certificate
- Medical Officer, or Registered Nurse, or Hospital Assistant, or military medical corpsman
- Approximately 8 to 10 years relevant field or practical experience in a practical environment. Prefer some experience within trauma / accident & emergency units.
- Knowledge of management of field hospital, drugs inventory, ability in diagnosis of medical conditions, dispensing of drugs
- Occupational Health background and / or previous offshore, oil & gas work assignment is advantageous Accountable and responsible to Vessel Master:
- To manage healthcare of personnel onboard the vessel and the work area.
- To manage medical emergencies
- To manage field hospital and its inventory of equipment and drugs
- To perform health surveillance and maintain health information on personnel onboard
- To conduct health inspections of company facilities
- To conduct health talks for personnel
