Our modern mine camps provide great Lao, Asian and Western food, sport and recreational facilities and housekeeping services. Site-based employees work a roster of 20 days on, 8 days off or 14 days on, 7 days off for shift work, while Vientiane – based employees work 5 days per week with 2 days off.

Reporting to the Doctor, you will be responsible for providing first aid and treatment, as well as basic first aid training for our staff. You will also work with the team to identify safety hazards in the field.

Your responsibilities will include:
Treatment and care of patients at site medical clinic
Assisting in emergency response in the case of emergencies
Deliver first aid training packages to site staff
Assisting in community liaison activities as required
Developing and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in emergency response strategies
Maintaining safety incident/accident statistics and register

To be successful in this role, you will require:
A recognised qualification in Medicine or a related field
1 year experience in medical treatment in hospitals, preferably in emergency or trauma management
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Lao
Good computer skills in Microsoft office
Willingness to work with people of different nationalities.
