- Adhere to Company and Client health, safety and environment policies and procedures
- Respond to medical emergency/non-emergency when notified, by proceeding to the site of the incident
- Stabilize the emergency medical case as per First Aid procedures until the arrival of an ambulance or until evacuation of the injured/ill person to identified medical care provider
- Deliver first aid skills maintenance training and health talks both in English and Malay
- Participate in emergency drills including pre and post drill meetings
- Responsible to manage first aid station / medical aid station in accordance to International SOS and local statutory guidelines
- Plan and conduct health promotion and wellness program as approved by Chief Medical Advisor
- Perform administrative duties such as report preparation, inventory management, record keeping, etc as per International SOS and client guideline
- Any ad-hoc work related as assigned by the reporting manager
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for 2015.
- Must be registered as a Medical Assistant with the Medical Assistant Board or as a nurse with the Nursing Board, Ministry of Health Malaysia.
- Minimum 3 years work experience post graduation. Preferable in Accident & Emergency Department or related field.
- Willing to work on yearly contract
- Well spoken and written English is a mandatory requirement
- Willing to work on 2 weeks ON/OFF or 4 weeks ON/OFF rotation (applicable to Medic Onshore Only).
- Good team player
- Knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety management is an advantage.
- Candidate with conversational MANDARIN capability encouraged to apply as well.
