Annual Days of Work and Working Patterns:
There is a choice of either 200 or 243 day contracts, resulting in rotation patterns of 12 weeks on and 12 weeks off, or 12 weeks on and 6 weeks off respectively, with annual salaries based on the Daily Rate of Pay.

Annual Travel Allowance:
Our Medical Officers receive an annual allowance for all travel, accommodation and meal costs to and from gateway airports within their country of residence.

Training Days:
We are committed to offering our Doctors an extensive CPD programme. Included in the 200 or 243 working days is an allowance for up to 10 training days.

Other Benefits (Summary) .
Accompanied travel policy (available after 6 months service), enabling a nominated travel partner to travel on board (in the same cabin) at no cost for 4 months in a 12 month period, or in the case of Senior Doctors for an unlimited period.

On board the teams are made up of generally 3 or 4 nurses, a Medical Technician and 2 Doctors - this may vary from ship to ship. There are always 2 Doctors who will be on call 24/7, in port the Doctors will take it in turns to go out to explore the places wherever possible, but will need to take their phone / pager with them. The ship accepts that they may be up to 2 hours away and that it may take some time to get back. In extreme emergencies they have much more support from the local hospitals. Clinics are run daily for general drop in clinics usually from 10am - 11am and 2pm - 3pm they will then be expected to take part in other duties including discussing safety with passenger and be on call for emergencies.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role you must have:
- A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
- At least 6 months recent A&E experience
- A valid ALS / ACLS certificate
- A valid DBS within the last year
- Current Registration within a specified country / GMC Registration
