Scope of Work:

Provide advice and technical and managerial advice for the development of health programs and project management and everything related to (primary health care, surveillance campaigns, health education) in the Qatari Red Crescent.
Duties & Responsibilities:


providing consultancy in the field of health to the director of health programs and Head of Mission.

• Provide suggestions and recommendations for the annual budget for the Department of Health, in addition to the implementation plan.

• Provide support and advice necessary for the health department in order to build cooperative relationships and partnerships with companies operating in the field of health organizations in coordination with the health programs and partners manager.

• Study own work and make proposals to develop policies.

• Develop key performance standards for staff health department.

• Identify needs Altdrejh cadre Department of Health in collaboration with the Human Resources Unit.

• Conduct weekly meeting with the director of health programs to find out the reality of the department and see the latest developments.

• Raising the weekly reports to the Head of Mission regarding the health department. And issuing instructions that included raising the section level.

• Coordination with the health programs to work on the development of the department and raise efficiency manager.

• Coordination with the health programs manager for the follow-up to attend meetings related to the health sector and look at the results.


· advising the head of the mission and director of the department in order to develop the necessary operational plans and policies necessary for the work of the Department of Health and strive to improve continuously working mechanism.

· Provide advice to ensure follow-up of all the projects implemented by the Department of Health as appropriate.

· cooperation with the departments and units in the mission to serve the Qatari Red Crescent business strategy.

· perform all tasks assigned by the President of the Qatar Red Crescent mission

Provide counseling for each of the head of the mission and director of health programs in relation to the health department.

Key Stakeholders:
· Internal communication destinations: Head of Mission and cadres of the health section add all the sections and units managers in the Qatari Red Crescent mission in Turkey ..

· • External communication destinations: partners and organizations working in the same field, and local communities.

Education, Experience & Training:

· Education: University degree (human medicine, and pharmaceutical Dentistry) or any certificate of public health.

· • Experience: 10 years of operation, at least in sections and programs of health management experience, preferably in the non-governmental organizations.

· • Training Courses: N / A

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

· Arabic language speaker and he has high leadership skills.

· High skills in verbal and written communication

· advanced skills in the use of computers and programs Offs.

· Fluency in English (speaking and writing and reporting)
