Key Role:
Provide exercise coordination support to Command, including fiscal and logistics planning of the Command's Joint Combined Exercises program and assist with planning, developing, and coordinating exercise plans and identifying requirements for demanding joint combined exercises. Develop policy recommendations to the Future Operations Director concerning fiscal and logistics management policy and procedures relating to the planning and execution of qualified exercises in the Joint Exercise Program (JEP) life cycle. Review and analyze processes and capabilities within N35 JCX mission-related areas and identify and recommend process and procedural improvement opportunities. Develop yearly budget estimates for N35 JCX exercise life cycle requirements and tracks monthly expenses. Assist with managing Lines of Accounting (LOAs) in correspondence to the budget requirements with the COMPTROLLER for all N35 JCX exercises. Plan and provide recommendations for exercise logistics in support of operational plans. Review operational plans and leadership vision, and provide recommendations and potential revisions to improve current and future plans.
Basic Qualifications:
8 years of experience with exercise coordination at the operational, strategic, or national level
Experience with financial and budget management
Experience with Microsoft Office software suite and application
Secret clearance
BA or BS degree or 10 years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with working in EUCOM or AFRICOM AORs
Clearance:
