TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Under the responsibility of the general coordinator, you will be responsible to ensure the pertinence and the quality of the medical activities.

More specifically, you will:
-Conduct needs analysis, monitor the health situation and participate to MdM strategy.
-Ensure the quality of the activities and conduct health assessments.
-Manage the medical team (hierarchically or functionally) and identify human resources needs and provide technical support.
-Ensure that monitoring and evaluation are developed.
-Prepare the list of drugs and medical tools, support the regular inventory process.
-Ensure the quality and the analysis of the data collection.
-Be responsible to provide the analysis/feedback on the epidemiological data.
-Identify potential local partner.
-Identify training needs of MdM staffs and partners to ensure formal and on-job training.
-Support SOP implementation (referral system with partner) and its regular revision.
-Investigate any information regarding unusual health events or diseases outbreak, provided through any source.
-Participate in external reporting according to donors/MdM requirements.
-Participate in a pro-active way to MdM internal meetings and external meetings.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Status : Employee

Contract : Fixed-term contract

Duration : 6 months

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
Medical background as doctor, nurse or midwife
Significant experience in similar positions or in humanitarian sector
Knowledge of public health issues and program planning
Experience on sexual and reproductive health program is an asset
Proficiency in PC use and Word and Excel programs
Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills
Ability to take quick decisions according to the context
Anticipation, adaptability, capacity to take initiatives
Organizational skills
Ability to manage priorities
Languages: English is mandatory
