OHR Recruitment is actively seeking Western qualified and experienced Midwives and Charge Nurses to attend a Recruitment Drive in July/August 2017 for positions in Abu Dhabi.

The Opportunities:

We will be holding a recruitment drive for those interested in positions in Abu Dhabi. These will be two day events in both London and Manchester where you will have the opportunity to interview with the HR department of one of the leading Women and Children’s hospitals in the region. These interviews are for a large number of Western Trained Midwife and Charge Nurse positions to start as soon as possible.

Qualification Requirements:

Please note: All qualifications must have been gained in the UK or Ireland.

Midwives:
2+ years experience in the following:
- BSc in Nursing or equivalent
(minimum 3 year course duration)
- Midwifery Certificate
(minimum 1 year course duration)

or

2+ years experience in the following:
- BSc in Midwifery or equivalent
(minimum of 3 year course duration)
- Actively registered and working as a Midwife

Charge Nurses Across all Specialities:
3+ years experience in the following:
- BSc in Nursing or equivalent
(minimum 3 year course duration)
- Post graduate training in speciality
- Actively registered and working as a Charge Nurse or equivalent

Essential Experience:

- Proven training in a Western setting
- NMC Registration
- Must hold a valid qualification from the UK or Ireland

Benefits Package:

Midwives:
- AED 16,000 per month
- Tax free package

(Equivalent of AED 19,500 per month)

Charge Nurse:
- AED 25,000 per month
- Tax free package
- Single accommodation available

Required Documents:

All Nurses and Midwives will be required to provide the following documents; these can be uploaded via the candidate portal, sent over via email or brought with you to the recruitment drive. We recommend you start gathering these documents at your earliest convenience:

- Current passport style photo, with white background
- Copy of passport - cover to cover (all pages)
- Educational qualifications - these will require verifying and attesting at the UAE Embassy in the country the certificate was obtained: BSc Nursing/Midwifery Degree Certificate / Diploma certificate plus high school certificates / Post Graduate Certificates
- Copies of all relevant training certificates
- Transcript of degree/diploma course
- Experience certificates - All jobs need experience certificates for at least the past 3 years, they must show the job title and duration and they must be signed by the human resources or Medical/Hospital director
- Copy of NMC registration letter
- Certificate(s) of Good Standing - From the regulatory authority issuing the licenses (registrations) e.g. NMC - to be applied on job offer/acceptance
