We are looking for qualified Industrial Paramedics to work for Falck for a remote medical services project in NSW. This position is Fly in Fly out (FIFO) BNE, SYD & MEL on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster to start in April/May 2018.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Actively contribute to the Client's health, safety, environment to improve the safety and well being of all personnel including management, employees, support groups, community groups and contractors.
Manage Site specific health care strategies and maintain a holistic approach to emergency and primary health care services that will enable the Client to reach its objectives.
Provision of Occupational Health Services
Perform on-site drug and alcohol screening
Perform first aid training
Perform injury/incident reporting
Work closely with Site health and safety team for all reported relevant injuries.
Participate in and support all and any occupational health and safety initiatives in accordance with any site specific tasks
Deliver specific health related training to on-site personnel
Input information into the Client's safety database following completion of documentation by relevant Client personnel.
Essential selection criteria and experience required:
Degree or Diploma qualified as a Paramedic
Drug and Alcohol testing qualification
Valid Drivers Licence
Professional interpersonal and communication skills and understanding of privacy requirements in a medical setting
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Desirable Selection Criteria:
Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment (TAE)
Experience in Mining or Gas clinical setting
