The Swiss Foundation for Mine Action (FSD), is an international mine action organisation based in Geneva, Switzerland. FSD has implemented a large number of mine clearance projects in more than 15 different countries. FSD's focus is on locating and destroying landmines and unexploded ordnance to prevent accidents. FSD’s overarching aim is to alleviate and diminish the social, economic and environmental impacts of landmines and unexploded ordnance, thus creating favourable conditions for the reconstruction and development of war-torn countries.

Location: Angola
FSD is currently seeking individuals with demonstrated professional experience to work autonomously in the HSEC sector, for projects in remote areas in Angola.
Essential requirements:
Formally qualified and certified in HSEC with a minimum experience of 3 years on international contracts
Experience of working in remote field conditions, on multi-site operations
Proficient in oral and written English
Willingness to deploy to the bush for protracted periods and live in basic field conditions in Angola
Preferred:
Portuguese speaker
Experience in the humanitarian, development and/or mining and exploration sector
Experience of developing HSEC concepts and writing reports, evaluations and recommendation papers
Excellent soft skills allowing for interaction and project implementation in a sensitive, multinational and -cultural environment
