A Global Pharmaceutical Company is looking to recruit an experienced Pharmacovigilance professional to manage their Drug safety department. The company is recognised worldwide as one of the largest generics companies with a continuously expanding range of products. This is an ideal opportunity for a GMC registered medic, to progress their career to the next stage. Through the company’s strong internal culture and emphasis on personal development, this fantastic position provides you with the opportunity to develop and become Medical Director. Our client is looking for a medic with strong pharmacovigilance experience within the pharmaceutical industry to take on this dynamic position. Under the oversight of the senior director and QPPV Europe, you will be responsible for appropriate medical safety assessments and surveillance on a single case and product level for compliant regulatory authority reporting. You will also be required to ensure development and execution of risk management strategies, and communication of safety information for assigned global, regional and local products. As head of department, you shall also lead a cross functional safety review team to establish the risk profile of assigned products to develop and execute risk management. Successful applicants will have a strong medical background with good experience within pharmacovigilance, enabling you to be a key contact for global drug safety guidance. Knowledge of Medical Information and Medical Affairs will be a distinct advantage.
